Othello (English 10 Regular)

Students in English 10 will be reading Shakespeare's classic play of jealousy and betrayal, Othello. In addition to reading this exciting tale, students will have the opportunity to work with professional actor-teachers from Great Lakes Theater Festival, they will be viewing portions of 2 versions of the play (classic and modern), and will be creating their own movie trailers in small groups. ~ Extra Credit Opportunity! Since we will not have enough time to read Nathaniel Hawthorne's excellent story, "The Minister's Black Veil", you have the opportunity to read it for extra credit! You must also complete the questions and be prepared to answer a few in class. This is due Monday, November 30th!
