Colonial / Puritan Literature (English 11)


American Literature classes will be taking a look at the first European settlers in North America, the Pilgrims. This unit will involve poetry, non-fiction, sermons, and Arthur Miller's classic play, The Crucible. We will also be exploring persuasive writing and the pros and cons of various types of historical narratives.
